New Hampton breaks NEIC volleyball drought

Twenty-eight years.
That’s how long it had been since the New Hampton volleyball team won a Northeast Iowa Conference championship, as the last time they claimed the title was in 1991. 
However, on the night of Oct. 8, 2019, the Chickasaws had an opportunity to break this skid in a contest against Waverly-Shell Rock, and it couldn’t have been a more intense match.
