New Hampton Auditorium filled with the sounds of jazz

Jill Eike was overwhelmed with the turnout at the jazz concert that took place Tuesday night at the New Hampton Middle School auditorium.“I really didn’t know who was going to come,” said the Carnegie Cultural Center Administrator.The Carnegie Cultural Center partnered with the Art Share program at the University of Iowa to bring the University of Iowa Jazz Repertoire Ensemble  to town.Eike said there were a lot of new faces in the crowd and said, “There is definitely a music appreciation group in our community.”For the complete story see the 11/18/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
