More than just a quilt

There was a moment early Sunday evening when Denise Sinnwell knew beyond a shadow of a doubt why Quilts of Valor is worth it.“I had a man come up to me and with tears in his eyes,” she said, “he thanked me over and over. ‘I’ve been waiting years for this.’ He was a Vietnam veteran and no one had ever thanked him. ...
