Lions top Chickasaw boys on windy day

Wind plagued the New Hampton boys golf team, as they fell to Clear Lake 160-182 on Monday. 182 is the exact same total the Chickasaws posted in their victory over Charles City last Friday. 
Although they lost, New Hampton boys head golf coach Bill Glenn was happy with his team’s effort.
“Even though we lost to a very good Clear Lake team, we played pretty decent,” he said. “Several guys improved their score from Friday, and that is a positive.”
