Leibold becomes rare four-time all-league player; Balk also first-teamer

A record-breaking season, one in which Turkey Valley’s boys basketball team won a school-record 22 games, has netted the Trojans plenty of postseason recognition.
And yet, for all the individual accolades, what coach Chris Sullivan will remember the most is that his team was … well, it was a team.
“I don’t think we have ever had a team that was as unselfish as this one,” Sullivan said. “No one cared who scored … all they cared about was what was on the scoreboard. … We talked about everybody doing their 1/15th, we dressed 15 guys for the tournament, and that’s what I’ll remember these guys for. They did the 1/15th, and man, they did it well.”
