A host of academic all-state Chickasaws

Seven New Hampton football players — (from left) Keegan Kane, Austin Flugum, Max Babcock, Wyatt Stochl, Mason Cleveland, Max Schwickerath, (not pictured) Dillon Roberson — were recently named academic all-state by the Iowa Football Coaches Association.
Players must meet four criteria — be a senior starter, have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.7 or better, be involved in other extra-curricular activities and be recommended by their high school head football coach — to make the team.
