High-octane Trojans claim district crown

Out with an injured knee the last two weeks, Turkey Valley quarterback Ethan Leibold was happy to be back in the line-up Friday. He scored three touchdowns on the ground and threw for another three in the Trojans’ 72-62 win over Easton Valley, which clinched the district title for the TV team.
Thankfully, Leibold came through the physical “Battle of the Unbeatens” unscathed, for the most part. 
“I took a helmet to the knee and it felt kind of weird, but it’s okay now,” he said on Saturday. “The adrenaline kept me going, I really wanted to win last night.”
