Gerald Thomas Roethler dies at 57

 Gerald Thomas Roethler, 57, of Parkville, Mo., formerly of New Hampton and Alta Vista, died at home on Monday, Jan. 30, 2017He was born April 29, 1959, in New Hampton. Gerald is survived by his parents, Richard and Marylou Roethler; three brothers, Gary Roethler, Edward Roethler and Randy Roethler; and three sisters, Teresa Teramae, Tamara Vorwald and Jacqueline Ross.Services and visitation: 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 11, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1086 North 94th St., Kansas City, Kan. A celebration of Jerry's life will follow with a late lunch after his services at 2 p.m. and through the evening at 13008 NW 45 Highway, Parkville, Mo.Jerry passed away peacefully in his sleep from cancer.
