FFA, school preparing for Grandin

Sometime back in October 2015, after New Hampton High School agriculture teacher Jim Russ had shown the film “Temple Grandin” to his students, they approached him.In short, their idea was simple: Let’s get the world-renowned autism spokesperson and consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior to come to New Hampton.“I looked at them and said, ‘Yeah right, go ahead,’” Russ said. “Honestly, I thought, there’s no way, absolutely no way, but they wanted to try.”Guess who’s coming to New Hampton on Jan. 12?
