Carson Babcock had 371 days to think about what transpired on a mat in Independence on Feb. 9, 2019.
The New Hampton/Turkey Valley junior finally found redemption Saturday.
The second-ranked 160-pounder earned a return trip to the state tournament by winning his weight bracket at the Class 2A district tournament that was held in front of an overflow crowd inside New Hampton’s new gymnasium.
