Chickasaws stay in NEIC hunt

After losing two crucial Northeast Iowa Conference games to Waverly-Shell Rock in the middle of last week, the Chickasaw baseball team could have easily hung their heads in their contests on Thursday and Friday. 
However, that’s not what New Hampton did, and because of it, they were able to pick up two wins — one which was crucial to staying alive in the conference championship race.
Waverly-Shell Rock came into last Wednesday evening trailing New Hampton in the conference standings by one game.
