Chickasaws send seniors out with bang

   New Hampton needed all the talent it could muster while playing Waukon in the first game of a doubleheader at Mikkelson Park Tuesday. Although the Chickasaws pulled out an 8-7 win, it came down to the wire.   Each of the five seniors on the team saw action in the game — and in the 10-0 second-game win — including Emma Nicolaisen, who had been sidelined with a foot injury. For the night she was 5-for-6 with a double.   "I was happy to get back and be able to play, especially since it's senior night, and I was glad to come back strong," said the left fielder.   Her injury prevented her from planting her foot while batting.   "The doctor said 'no more batting, I had to rest it' but it's better now, I'm just wrapping it good and I have lots of ibuprofen in me," she said. "I decided to suck it up and play, it's my senior year and I have to make the most of it."   But early in game one, the Indians didn't look like the 7-22 team the Chickasaws defeated 15-1 earlier in the season.   "We were down 7-1 and I was thinking 'this is NOT how senior night is supposed to go,'" said Nicolaisen.
