Blazek finishes third at state XC meet

Although she is only a sophomore, Jalyssa Blazek is well on her way to putting together one heck of a cross country career at Turkey Valley.
After a placing sixth at the Class 1A state meet located in Fort Dodge as a freshman in 2018, she improved to finish third this past year and dropped her time by over a minute from 19:59 to 18:54. This showing was also a personal record for Blazek.
The only two competitors of the 139 total participants to clock in quicker were Peyton Pogge of Tri-Center (18:45) and Haley Meyer of Kee (18:51).
