Area schools welcome Americorps worker

Shelbey Henkelman, a recent Luther graduate, has come to the New Hampton School district this year as an AmeriCorps member that will help teach staff and students about healthy living and making healthy choices.Henkelman graduated with a degree in social work and completed her practicum at Helping Service for Northeast Iowa.“I always wanted to do community service oriented jobs,” said Henkelman who is originally from La Crosse, Wis.For the complete story see the 11/8/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
