And so it begins!

 
There’s just something about that first day of school that tugs at the heartstrings.
Maybe it’s the kindergartners who give their parents one final tight hug.
Maybe it’s all the “first-day-of-school” pictures that knock politics and all the other bullcrap off of social media for a day.
Maybe it’s the cute things you overhear in classrooms or in the hallways during that first hour; our favorite this year came from a little boy in a kindergarten classroom at New Hampton Elementary, “I didn’t do nothin’ this summer but work.”
