Chickasaws win third straight NEIC

Monday afternoon New Hampton's girls golf team got their three-peat as they won the Northeast Iowa Conference title by 64 strokes over second-place Decorah.   All six of the Chickasaws were all conference, led by co-medalists Ellie Ewert and Morgan Nuss.  "We had a 350, that's a good score," said coach Eric Olson. "Especially with the conditions, we had some wind out there and the greens were fast, they didn't hold shots in. But even when our girls had a bad hole they moved on, they all did a good job at that."  There will be one more varsity-only meet this week, at Forest City Friday, before the girls play in regional action at Manchester next Monday.
